Life can be a real pain at times and we understand that now and then things don’t work out as planned. However, we are a small business that relies on having our clients turn up to their booked appointment, not only so that we can pay the stylist who is at work ready to do your hair, but also so we can pay to keep the electricity on and the doors open.

When you don’t attend your appointment or don’t give us enough notice that you can’t attend, that also means that we have turned away other clients because that time was allocated to you specifically for that service, which is not fair on us, or the other client.

So to protect all of our loyal clients’ appointments, to protect our business from loss of trading, and to ensure your appointment is relaxing and enjoyable, we have adopted the following salon policies. We may use our discretion and waive the policy where we deem necessary.

We greatly appreciate your support of our business and we will endeavor to provide the utmost professional service to you at every appointment.

  1. All no-show clients and cancellations within 48 hours of the appointment may incur a cancellation fee that must be paid before booking another appointment.

  2. We run by appointment, therefor late arrivals of 15 minutes or more may be unable to be serviced, and if so, the cancellation policy will apply.

  3. Booked services cannot be cancelled on the arrival of an appointment. If so - the cancellation policy will be applied.

  4. All clients will be sent a confirmation SMS before their appointment. Failure to confirm within 24 hours of that message being sent your appointment may result in the appointment being cancelled.

  5. Our highly trained technicians provide professional colour results using the finest products available. Palomino Hair cannot guarantee lasting results unless you are using recommended home hair care purchased from Palomino Hair or if you swim regularly.

  6. As per the Small Business and the Competition and Consumer Act, any problems with your service must be reported within 1 (one) week of the original service by phone call or in person. As per the Small Business and the Competition and Consumer Act, Palomino Hair will then fix the service or replace the product at no charge, within 1 (one) week of the report of the fault.

  7. All prices include GST. All prices are subject to variation without notice. To obtain a quote, please schedule a free consultation at Palomino Hair.

  8. Due to New South Wales strict OH&S laws, all children under the age of 18 who are not receiving a service must remain seated and are not permitted to be on the salon floor. We work with hazardous chemicals and sharp and very hot tools; your child’s safety is important to us.

  9. Out of respect to all of our clients who spend their hard-earned money to have valued relax and pamper time with us, unruly and loud clients and/or their children will be asked to leave the salon.

  10. A blow dry is not included in your colour price (unless stated) and as such is a separate service which we recommend. Clients who choose not to have a blow dry and finish the service will not be entitled to any re-do of colour as we have not had the opportunity to see the finished result with you.

48 Hour Cancellation Policy

We understand that life gets busy and you may have to cancel or change an appointment with us.

To respect the time of both our guests and our staff, we simply ask that you notify us of a cancellation or rescheduling at least 48 hours before the appointment.
This is so that we may have ample time to fill the appointment time should you need to cancel your service. Appointments that are cancelled less than 48 hours prior will result in a 30% of the original booking fee charged on your next service.

No Show

To respect the time of our Stylists, if an appointment is no shown you will be subject to a $100 non-refundable deposit on your next booking as well as 30% of your appointment fee. Please be advised if you NO Show on a correction Reservation we will not be able to schedule a new reservation free of charge.

Booking Fee

We charge a $50 Non-Refundable booking fee, paying this fee deems you accept this is Non-Refundable. This fee however goes towards your finished salon service on the original day and time of booking.
