ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Tiahn Fairfull

Tiahn is passionate about creating a relaxing, supportive and judgement-free space for each of the guests to her hair salon. She previously founded a successful hair salon at the Gold Coast, which she closed to move with her husband and two young girls to the Northern Rivers and establish Palomino Hair Salon.

Her goal is to bring Lismore residents a modern, friendly and approachable service that is backed by her team of dedicated and highly skilled hair stylists.

Tiahn specialises in blondes, colour correction and creative colour. She loves cutting short hair and curls as well as doing tape hair extensions.

Her goal is to grow Palomino and her team, offering opportunities for young stylists and supporting her employees to stay current with their services and skills through education and professional development.

We pride ourselves on our team of expert hair stylists who specialise in different areas of hair cuts, hair colouring, styling and haircare. Each team member brings their own expertise from blonding, creative colour, precision cutting, or extensions, you can feel confident knowing you get the very best in hair, no matter your hair type, texture, or goals.

    Tiahn

    OWNER | MASTER STYLIST + COLOURIST | MAKEUP ARTIST

    With over 16 years of experience, Tiahn loves tailoring haircuts and colours for each guest in a relaxing, fun and judgement-free space.

    She trained in extensions over 12 years ago with Toni and Guy in London. She specialises in blondes, colour corrections, fashion colours, short haircuts, curly haircuts, and extensions.

    She is a mum of two, living on a farm, and cherishes time with family.

  • Ashleigh is the Lismore hair extension specialist having trained in weft and tape hair extensions

    MANAGER | SENIOR STYLIST

    Ashleigh has been hairdressing for over 12 years. She is a qualified extensionist trained in weft and tape hair extension methods and loves to create big transformations.

    She loves doing blondes and balayage colours while giving her guests expert advice on caring for their hair at home.

    She likes cooking and doing arts + crafts in her spare time - she has a furbaby Sebastion who is a Pomeranian.

  • Senior Stylist Tahlia at Palomino Hair Salon, Lismore

    Tahlia

    SENIOR STYLIST

    With over 5 years in the industry, Tahlia loves nothing more than making her guests look and feel amazing. She loves creating anything from creamy blondes to bright coppers and everything in between. Constantly learning the latest trends and techniques is one of her favourite things about hairdressing.

    When she isn't in the salon you'll find her wandering around markets collecting crystals- her favourites are Amythyst and Smokey Quartz or sipping an espresso martini.

    Find Tahlia in the salon Tuesday - Saturday.

  • Sam is a senior stylist at Lismore's best hair salon specialising in advanced hair colouring

    SENIOR STYLIST | ADVANCED COLOURIST

    Sam is our newest Senior Stylist to join the Palomino Family- he has over 6 years experience and last year won Colorist of the Year with Kao Salons Global Creative awards.

    Sam is passionate about helping people, making them feel comfortable and ultimately achieving their hair goals.

    He loves creating lived-in blondes, balayage as well as extreme creative colours and is well trained with our EVO Fashion colours.

    Find Sam in the salon Monday - Saturday offering 2 late nights a week.

  • Emerging Hair Stylist Lilly at Lismore's Best Hair Salon

    Lilly

    3RD YEAR EMERGING STYLIST

    Meet Lilly our dedicated 3rd-year apprentice with a passion for all things hair. While she enjoys every aspect of hairdressing, Lilly is particularly interested in blonde work. With extensive training in color from Evo, O&M, and Delorenzo, she's also started her journey in hair extensions.

    Lilly's commitment to the salon goes beyond her apprenticeship, as she played a crucial role in renovating our new space after the floods, ensuring we could continue serving our clients.

    Since joining the salon in 2022, Lilly has been an invaluable member of our team, always eager to learn and contribute.

  • Lismore's only sustainable salon, Palomino values Apprentices such as Harrison, 2nd year hairdresser

    Harrison

    2ND YEAR APPRENTICE

    Harrison was a Personal Trainer, but always thought about hairdressing as a career choice. He decided later in life to pursue hairdressing and after starting his cert 2 in hairdressing found his love for the art.

    He is now in his 2nd year completing his cert 3 in hairdressing. He loves being able to make people look and feel good- and doing keratin smoothing treatments are one of his favourite services.

  • Professional makeup services by apprentice hair stylist Eilish, Lismore

    Eilish

    1ST YEAR APPRENTICE | MAKEUP ARTIST

    Eilish is our 1st Year apprentice, having started with us originally as our Salon Co-Ordinator she knows our salon inside out.

    She loves learning all aspects of hairdressing and has a keen interest in learning the art of cutting hair. She is also our in-house Make-Up Artist and loves creating different looks for our guests.

    When Eilish isn't in the salon she will be hanging out with her Cat Luna and Dog Murphy.
